Michael David Cook is a public artist and author, now based in Melbourne, Australia.

His distinctive images of underground and infrastructural space are immediately accessible and engaging to non-technical audiences, while maintaining a high degree of documentary and archival information.

In Canada, Cook's photographs were exhibited in a number of high-profile public installations, including exhibits for the 2013 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival and the 2014 Doors Open Toronto Festival. His images have been published in Maclean's Magazine, The Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, the National Post, and Canadian Business, and featured on The Atlantic Cities, BLDGBLOG, and Azure Magazine. Cook delivered the opening keynote presentation at ASCE/UESI's 2018 Pipelines Conference.
